TASTING NOTES
NOSE
Rich and harmonious — Brazil nut, Seville orange, and subtle lavender open first, followed by raisins, dried figs, baked apple, dark chocolate, warm spices, and hints of toasted nuts — refined, complex, and deeply inviting.
PALATE
Luxuriously smooth and layered — sweet raspberry liquorice and pruned fruits lead into treacle toffee, ginger spice, charred oak, and a velvety sherried sweetness, perfectly balanced with underlying spice and a touch of soft smokiness from BenRiach's signature spirit character.
FINISH
Full, spicy, and long — lasting citrus, dried fruit, oak, and a warm glow of ginger fading slowly — a deeply satisfying and elegantly sustained close from a whisky that has clearly earned every one of its twenty-four years.
