Rampur Asava Single Malt Whisky, Asava, which means “wine” in Hindi, has matured in old American bourbon barrels before finishing its aging for 7 to 8 months in Indian Cabernet Sauvignon wine casks. The red wine Cabernet Sauvignon comes from a small winery in Maharashtra, India. A historic first! The distillery is located at the foot of the Himalayas, one of the most captivating places in the world, and Rampur whiskies benefit from the extreme climatic conditions of this region, which are particularly favorable for rapid aging. Asava is presented in a beautiful metal case.

TASTING NOTES
Nose: Typical tropical fruity note of Rampur with added notes of apricot, blackberry & plum followed with a faint hint of tabacco and spices.
Palate: Velvety, manuka honey sweetness highlighted by spicy oak, vanilla and balanced with dryness from India red wine.
Finish: The India trail lingers with a medium finish.
