The Glenlivet 12 Year Old is the original founding flagship of the world's most awarded single malt Scotch whisky range. Matured for at least 12 years in a combination of American oak (ex-bourbon) and European oak (ex-sherry) casks at the historic Glenlivet distillery in the Livet Valley.
Founded in 1824 by George Smith, Glenlivet was the first distillery to be officially licensed under the Excise Act and is widely credited as the founding distillery of modern legal Scotch whisky. The 12 Year Old is the brand's globally recognised signature expression.

TASTING NOTES
NOSE
Bright and aromatic — ripe pineapple, ripe pear, vanilla, soft caramel, gentle floral notes, and a touch of toasted oak — clean and beautifully composed.
PALATE
Smooth and balanced — sweet pineapple, ripe orchard fruit, vanilla cream, soft honey, gentle citrus, and integrated oak — refined and well-composed.
FINISH
Medium and clean — lingering tropical fruit, vanilla, soft oak, and a gentle warmth fading evenly — bright and elegantly composed.
