A quick guide to the main families.

Triple sec, curaçao and Cointreau-style — the backbone of Margaritas, Cosmos and Sidecars.

Coffee

Rich, sweet coffee liqueur — the heart of an Espresso Martini and a White Russian.

Indulgent

Cream

Smooth dairy liqueurs — lovely over ice, in coffee, or in dessert cocktails.

Bittersweet

Herbal & Amaro

Botanical, herbal and bitter liqueurs — the soul of a Spritz, Negroni and after-dinner digestif.

Sweet

Fruit & Berry

Raspberry, peach, elderflower and limoncello — bright, fruity lifts for cocktails and fizz.

Toasty

Nut

Amaretto and hazelnut liqueurs — warm, sweet and nutty, perfect in a sour or stirred long.

The Story

Spirit, sugar and flavour — the cocktail cabinet's secret weapon.

Flavoured & sweetened

What Is a Liqueur?

A liqueur is a spirit that's been flavoured — with fruit, herbs, nuts, cream, coffee or spice — and sweetened. Usually lower in alcohol than a base spirit, liqueurs add colour, sweetness and aroma to cocktails, and many are delicious on their own as a digestif over ice.

How to Use

In cocktails

The flavour layer

Liqueurs are what turn spirits into cocktails — a measure of orange, coffee or amaretto transforms the whole drink.

As an aperitif

Before dinner

Bitter and herbal liqueurs and vermouth, topped with soda or prosecco, make a light, appetite-whetting spritz.

As a digestif

After dinner

Sip amaro, cream or nut liqueurs neat or over ice to round off a meal.

Good to Know

What is a liqueur?
A liqueur is a spirit that's been flavoured — with fruit, herbs, nuts, cream, coffee or spice — and sweetened. They're usually lower in alcohol than base spirits and are used to add flavour and sweetness to cocktails.
What's the difference between a liqueur and a spirit?
A spirit (vodka, gin, whisky) is distilled and unsweetened. A liqueur takes a spirit base and adds flavouring and sugar, making it sweeter, often lower in ABV, and ideal for mixing.
What's the difference between an aperitif and a digestif?
An aperitif is served before a meal to stimulate the appetite (think a Spritz or vermouth); a digestif is served after, to aid digestion (think amaro or a cream liqueur).
How should I store liqueurs?
Most keep well in a cool, dark place. Cream liqueurs are the exception — refrigerate after opening and use within the timeframe on the label.
Do you deliver liqueurs in Singapore?
Yes — free islandwide delivery within 3 working days, no minimum purchase. We do not stock all bottles online at the showroom, so if you have something specific in mind, please WhatsApp us to check first before heading down to avoid a wasted trip.
