Glendalough Distillery, founded in the Wicklow Mountains near the ancient monastic site of Glendalough, produces whiskey and spirits that reflect the wild, forested landscape of the Wicklow countryside. The Double Barrel is Glendalough's flagship expression — an Irish whiskey first matured in ex-bourbon American oak barrels, then finished in Oloroso sherry casks for a second maturation. The double barrel process adds a pleasing sherry richness and dried fruit character to the distillery's characteristic orchard fruit and vanilla style. Bottled at 41.2% ABV, natural colour.
