What is BenRiach's history?
Founded 1898 by John Duff. Closed 1900, reopened 1965, closed 2002. Revived 2004 by Billy Walker (same team who later revived Glendronach and GlenAllachie). Bought by Brown-Forman 2016. Unusual peated Speyside tradition — BenRiach produces both unpeated and peated single malts (rare in Speyside).

TASTING NOTES
NOSE
Bright and fruit-forward — ripe orchard fruit, vanilla, sweet honey, soft toasted oak, and a gentle floral lift — clean, layered, and unmistakably Speyside.
PALATE
Smooth and rounded — baked apple, pear, vanilla cream, milk chocolate, soft caramel, and a touch of toasted oak — well-balanced with the three-cask layering clearly present.
FINISH
Medium and warming — lingering vanilla, orchard fruit, gentle oak, and a soft sweet warmth fading evenly — polished and approachable.
