Benromach 2003 Single Cask #48 Singapore Exclusive Single Malt Scotch Whisky β 70cl
A Singapore exclusive of genuine rarity and distinction β distilled at Benromach on 20 January 2003 and drawn from a single first-fill bourbon barrel, Cask #48, on 16 August 2023 after twenty years of unhurried Speyside maturation. With only 189 bottles in existence, bottled at natural cask strength without chill filtration, this is one of the most characterful and collectible single cask expressions Benromach has released for the Singapore market β a whisky that demonstrates with quiet brilliance what two decades in quality first-fill bourbon wood achieves when the spirit is Benromach's lightly peated, classically styled Speyside malt. The long maturation has built considerable depth and complexity while preserving the distillery's characteristic fruit-forward elegance, with the cask strength delivery adding a concentrated richness and intensity that the core range expressions at 43% simply cannot replicate. A rare and irreplaceable collector's bottle for any serious Benromach or Speyside enthusiast.
