Clase Azul Durango Mezcal – 75cl
Clase Azul Durango Mezcal is a celebrated artisanal mezcal sourced from the state of Durango — one of Mexico's nine appellations of origin for mezcal. Crafted from wild-harvested Cenizo agave (Agave durangensis), the agave hearts are roasted in earthen conical pits for several days, then milled by hand and traditionally fermented in oak vats. Distillation is carried out twice in copper alembic stills, preserving the rich smoky-mineral character of Durango's high-altitude terroir.
Each bottle is a hand-painted ceramic decanter created by master artisans, featuring rich earth-toned colours and decorative reliefs inspired by the rugged terrain of Durango. The decanter pays homage to the indigenous craftsmen of the region — every bottle individually numbered, never identical.
Produced by Clase Azul Tequila in Jesús María, Jalisco — Mexico's most prestigious luxury agave spirits producer.
A definitive luxury collector's mezcal showcasing Durango's distinct terroir — perfect for connoisseurs, gifting, or contemplative tasting alongside premium dark chocolate or aged cheese. Serve neat in a copita or jicara at room temperature.
