Courvoisier was founded in 1828 and is one of the four great Cognac houses. The brand was once the official supplier to Napoleon III and remains one of the most celebrated names in French Cognac.

TASTING NOTES
NOSE
When the cognac is distilled and aged, it begins to conjure the soft, luscious aroma of ripe peach. After several years in French fine-grained oak barrels, the spirit develops nutty notes and ages to produce a sweet, caramelized flavor of toasted almonds. The distillation on the lees is a complex process but it gives fruity and musky notes, with an aroma of jasmine.
PALATE
The palate gives a lengthy finish. The finish is toasted almonds, toffee, and stone fruits. A dry finish of baking spice.
