Cu Bocan Creation 1 Black Isle Brewery Imperial Stout + Moscatel Wine Casks Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky - 70cl
Cu Bocan Creation 1 is a celebrated experimental Highland single malt finished in Black Isle Brewery Imperial Stout casks β an unusual cask type that adds distinctive coffee, dark chocolate, and roasted malt character. As the first release in the Creation series from Tomatin Distillery's Cu Bocan range, this expression launched the distillery's commitment to unconventional cask finishes.
Cu Bocan (Gaelic for 'phantom' or 'spectre') is the lightly peated expression from Tomatin Distillery in the Scottish Highlands. The distillery dates to 1897 and is one of the largest single malt producers in Scotland. The Black Isle Brewery collaboration brought together two celebrated Highland producers for a uniquely creative whisky.

A definitive experimental Highland single malt β perfect for whisky enthusiasts exploring beer-cask finishes, gifting, or contemplative tasting. Serve neat in a tulip glass with a small drop of water at room temperature.
TASTING NOTES
An unusually creative collaboration, this intriguing mix marries the best bits of its wine and beer counterparts; sweet and buttery with hints of orange marmalade and espresso. A rich, sweet, and fruity expression with a waxy and herbaceous character of tobacco, coffee and leather from the Black Isle Brewery Imperial Stout cask, and a syrupy character of orange marmalade, dried fruit and melted butter from the Bacalhoa Moscatel de Setubal Wine cask.
