TASTING NOTES
COLOUR
Green gold.
NOSE
Fresh, refined. Scents of frost, freshly cut grass, mint, and salt vie with delicate peat. Upon aeration, ointments and other balms envelop the palate, in the pure Caol Ila style.
PALATE
Both lively and delicate. Different from the nose, the palate entry combines white fruit (pear, peach, apple) with peat and smoke, strong spices (clove, nutmeg), vanilla pods, and coconuts. Very maritime, the mid-palate reveals seaweed and aquatic plants (aster).
FINISH
Long, intense. Saturated with smoky aromas of ashes, the finish is creamy (milk tart, almond), vanilla, and fruity (Williams pear). Infused with lime and verbena, the aftertaste reveals a dry peat and sprouting barley grains.
ABV: 59.9% ABV
