Eighteen years in carefully selected casks has produced a whisky of considerably greater richness, depth, and character than either the 12 or 16 Year Old: the tropical fruit of the younger expressions maturing into richer dark fruit and concentrated honey, the gentle spice developing into a warmer, more complex oak and dried fruit character, and the whole gaining a satisfying weight and gravitas that comes only from genuine age in quality wood.
