TASTING NOTES
Nose: full, unctuous. The spices [cinnamon, cloves, red pepper, cumin] are placed in front. Then come the notes of juniper berries, praline and sweet almond. Medicinal (balm), empyreumatic [eucalyptus, pine], it is softened by acacia honey.
Palate: rather lively, it reveals a myriad of citrus fruits [bitter oranges, lemon, yellow grapefruit], vanilla and pecan nuts. Spices have taken a back seat. On the other hand, the juniper berry is restored with the same intensity. It extends with delicacy on green liquorice and fresh ginger.
Finish: long, sweet. It is with a lot of balance that it unfolds on ripe fruits [apple, pear] and on an elegant woody-vanilla note. Exotic [kiwi, pineapple], a bit salty, it lingers on with herbaceous notes [moss, cut hay] and green walnut. The empty glass is clearly medicinal [arnica, mustard].
