The distillery
Glenfiddich was founded in 1887 by William Grant in Dufftown, in the heart of Speyside, and is still owned by his family's company, William Grant & Sons. The 18 Year Old is the oldest whisky in the main Glenfiddich core range.
The whisky
Whisky matured in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks and American oak is married in small batches of no more than 150 casks, and each batch is individually numbered. The result is deep gold in colour, with baked apple, dried fruit and refined oak.
How to enjoy it
Best neat in a tulip glass at room temperature, with a drop of water if you like. It pairs well with aged cheeses, dried fruit or dark chocolate after dinner.

NOSE
Deep and aromatic — sherried dried fruit, ripe baked apple, honeyed orchard fruit, vanilla, gentle baking spice, and a touch of toasted oak — mature and beautifully composed.
PALATE
Rich and full-bodied — caramelised dried fruit, honeyed apple, vanilla cream, dark toffee, dried apricot, soft cinnamon, and integrated sherry oak — layered and harmoniously balanced.
FINISH
Long and warmly oaked — lingering dried fruit, vanilla, soft caramel, gentle spice, and a sherried warmth fading slowly — refined, mature, and elegantly composed.
