Signatory Vintage
Signatory Vintage was founded in 1988 by Andrew Symington and is one of Scotland's best-known independent bottlers; it has also owned Edradour distillery since 2002. Signatory buys casks from distilleries and bottles them under its own name, so this is not a Glenlivet distillery release.
The whisky
This Glenlivet was distilled in 2007 and matured for 15 years in a single first-fill sherry butt, cask 900284. It was selected by La Maison du Whisky Singapore and bottled at 46% ABV for Whisky Live Singapore 2022, the eleventh edition of the show, giving 879 bottles.
How to enjoy it
Pour it neat and give it time in the glass: one reviewer found it opened noticeably after about 20 minutes. A few drops of water bring out plum, hibiscus and lemon curd. Enjoy it slowly on its own.

PALATE
Lightly syrupy and complex with cranberry fruit leather, roasted barley tea, and a gentle touch of cardamom, with plums and hibiscus emerging with water — a distinctive, layered palate that balances classic Speyside fruit with the subtle depth of fifteen years in first-fill sherry oak.
FINISH
Long and delicately sustained with menthol, sourdough, oolong tea, and the faintest hint of balsamic rancio — a surprisingly restrained and nuanced close for a first-fill sherry butt, demonstrating the quality and finesse of this single cask selection.
