The Glenrothes
The Glenrothes Distillery sits on a private estate in Rothes, Speyside, and has made whisky since 1879. The 15 Year Old was introduced in late 2024 as the entry point to the current core range of 15, 18 and 25 years.
The whisky
The distillery describes it as boldly balanced with bright sweet spice: delicate new make spirit set against the weight of sherry-seasoned European oak. The texture is soft, rich and mouth-coating.
How to enjoy it
Pour it neat and give it a few minutes in the glass for the praline and orange peel to open. A drop of water brings out the cinnamon, clove and cardamom.

Yes. It was launched in the UK in November 2024 as a new, younger addition to the age-statement range, alongside The 18 and The 25.
