Harmony Collection Vibrant Oak – 70cl
The fourth release in the Harmony Collection has been created in collaboration with Cirque du Soleil to tell our oak story in an imaginative, visual and innovative way.
The whisky, created by The Macallan Whisky Mastery Team, is matured in a combination of first fill sherry seasoned American oak casks and refill sherry casks.
These have been carefully selected to deliver the classic American oak flavours of vanilla, citrus and sweet oak, naturally derived from the cask during maturation, with a medium, sweet finish that delicately lingers.
TASTING NOTES
Aroma: The Macallan Harmony Collection Vibrant Oak offers a fresh aroma with notes of fruit such as ripe berries, balanced by light spice and sweetness from vanilla. Subtle undertones of oak provide a warm depth.
Taste: On the palate, the whiskey opens with complex layers of fruit, honey and spices, where oak and vanilla come to the fore and give the taste a rich character and fullness.
Finish: Long and smooth finish with lingering notes of oak and spices that slowly fade away
