Description
Colour : Intense golden yellow.
Nose : Fine, refined. Powdery [rice], fruity [yellow plum], and complex [curry, raisin, acacia honey], the nose is remarkably delicate. With aeration, fresh fruits [apple, yellow plum] and strong spices [clove, star anise] form a second sequence full of character, punctuated by aromas of burnt cane and cigar.
Palate : Rich, creamy. At the palates attack, flavors of sugar cane, roasted pineapple, and geranium deeply saturate the taste buds. Vanilla [pod], vegetal [cut hay], and milky [nuts, coconut], the mid-palate stretches over notes of licorice and dark chocolate.
Finish : Dense, radiant. The finish is very fruity [white currant, rhubarb, blackcurrant], honeyed [acacia, lime blossom], and lemony. The aftertaste reveals fibrous notes [sugar cane], and the empty glass hints at smoky [gum arabic] and medicinal [ointment] notes.
