TASTING NOTES
COLOUR
Intense golden yellow.
NOSE
Fine, refined. Powdery [rice], fruity [yellow plum], and complex [curry, raisin, acacia honey], the nose is remarkably delicate. With aeration, fresh fruits [apple, yellow plum] and strong spices [clove, star anise] form a second sequence full of character, punctuated by aromas of burnt cane and cigar.
PALATE
Rich, creamy. At the palates attack, flavors of sugar cane, roasted pineapple, and geranium deeply saturate the taste buds. Vanilla [pod], vegetal [cut hay], and milky [nuts, coconut], the mid-palate stretches over notes of licorice and dark chocolate.
FINISH
Dense, radiant. The finish is very fruity [white currant, rhubarb, blackcurrant], honeyed [acacia, lime blossom], and lemony. The aftertaste reveals fibrous notes [sugar cane], and the empty glass hints at smoky [gum arabic] and medicinal [ointment] notes.
