Kweichow Moutai Jingpin - 50cl
Moutai is a style of baijiu, a distilled Chinese liqour (spirit), made in the town of Moutai in China's Guzhou Province. Produced by the state-owned Kweichow Moutai company. Moutai uses selective choice of materials such as sorghum, grain & water to produce its flavor. After 4 years of brewing, fermentation and distillation, it is ready to be bottled and sold. Moutain originated during the Qing Dynasty and won the first international fame when winning the gold medal at the 1915 Panama-Pacific Expo in San Francisco
Wine cellaring process of Moutai Wine is also quite elaborate. From the selection of the cellar site, the direction of the cellar area, and the height of the space to the control of temperature and humidity inside the cellar, air permeability, as well as the form of the wine urns, their capacity, and the technology of sealing the mud at the mouth of the urns, etc., they are all extremely strict. These are the keys to the re-ripening of the finished wine and the improvement of the purity of the aroma. The wine cellar is inspected daily, and the ventilation holes are switched on and off to control the temperature and humidity.
