Laphroaig Quarter Cask is a no-age-statement heavily peated Islay single malt initially matured in American ex-bourbon barrels, then finished in smaller quarter casks at the historic Laphroaig distillery. The smaller cask volume increases the spirit-to-wood ratio for accelerated, more intense oak interaction. , non-chill-filtered.
Founded in 1815. The quarter-cask finish lends rich vanilla and oak depth to Laphroaig's signature maritime smoke.
A bold peated Islay malt — neat or with a drop of water.

NOSE
Bold and aromatic — intense peat smoke, vanilla, medicinal iodine, sea salt, gentle baking spice, and warm toasted oak — concentrated and beautifully composed.
PALATE
Full and warmly smoked — sweet smoke, vanilla cream, medicinal notes, soft caramel, gentle pepper, sea salt, and integrated quarter-cask oak — bold, layered, and harmoniously balanced.
FINISH
Long and warmly smoked — lingering peat, vanilla, sea salt, medicinal notes, and a gentle peppery oak warmth fading slowly — distinctive and refined.
