Join us for the Lindores Abbey Single Malt Scotch Whisky Masterclass, exploring Scotland’s spiritual home of whisky through a guided tasting of 6 exceptional single malt expressions along with peeks into its rich historical surroundings.

Featuring:

Lindores Abbey 1494 Single Malt: Scotland’s oldest recorded whisky heritage. It’s a Lowland whisky matured in bourbon, sherry and red wine barriques, at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered. Notes of pear, vanilla, citrus and dried fruit with a creamy texture and lingering finish.

Lindores Abbey Bourbon Cask Release: A Lowland single malt bottled at 49.4% ABV, fully matured in ex-bourbon barrels.
It smells of mellow vanilla, apples, pears and citrus with buttery custard touches. The palate delivers sweet orchard fruits, vanilla, zesty oak and a spicy pepper kick. Medium-length finish lingering on fruit and wood tones.

Lindores Abbey Thiron 2025: An elegant Lowland single malt at 49.4% ABV, non-chill filtered, matured in ex-bourbon, red wine barriques and French virgin oak grown in Thiron-Gardais.
Expect mellow vanilla cake, caramel syrup and baking spices on the nose, with plum jam, cinnamon, ginger, roasted chestnuts and a smooth, silky texture leading to a balanced, enduring finish.

Lindores Abbey STR Red Wine Cask Release: A Lowland single malt at 49.4% ABV, matured exclusively in shaved, toasted & re-charred red wine barriques.
Expect mellow apricot jam, toffee, butter & custard on the nose. Palate of plums, red berries, treacle, cinnamon spice with a smooth‐silky texture. Finish medium-long with honey, caramel & warming spice tones.

Lindores Abbey Friar John Cor - Chapter III: A bold cask-strength Lowland whisky (60.2% ABV), matured in ex-Bourbon, Amontillado, and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks.
Expect rich vanilla and treacle on the nose, layered with red apples, honey and dried fruit. The palate delivers sticky toffee pudding, figs, dark chocolate, spice and toasted nuts. Finish is long, warming, with chocolate fudge, cinnamon and candied citrus peel.

Lindores Abbey Amontillado Sherry SG Single Cask: Expect nose of caramel, honey, green apple zest and a trace of sea salt; palate with marmalade, roasted walnut and cigar ash; medium linger on sweet spice and oak.
