Speyburn
Speyburn Distillery sits near Rothes in Speyside and is owned by Inver House Distillers, trading as International Beverage. The 10 Year Old is the backbone of its range.
The whisky
It spends ten years in ex-bourbon casks, which give toffee, butterscotch and vanilla. Speyburn notes a fuller body than many expect from Speyside, with a pale gold colour and amber highlights.
