The Balvenie 12 Year Old Golden Rum Cask is a Speyside single malt initially matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks for at least 12 years, then finished in golden rum casks for additional sweetness and tropical depth. Bottled at 46.5% ABV, non-chill-filtered.

TASTING NOTES
NOSE
Aromatic and tropical — vanilla, honey, ripe banana, soft caramel, gentle spice, brown sugar, and warm toasted oak — distinctive and beautifully composed.
PALATE
Full and rounded — honeyed banana, brown sugar, vanilla cream, soft toffee, gentle nutmeg, and integrated oak — silky, layered, and harmoniously balanced.
FINISH
Long and warmly tropical — lingering brown sugar, vanilla, soft fruit, and a gentle rum-cask warmth fading slowly — refined and beautifully composed.
