TASTING NOTES
NOSE
Rich and deeply inviting — dark chocolate, treacle, and heather honey open with cinnamon, espresso, sticky raisins, marzipan, cola, dark fruit, and a subtle lemon zest brightness — bold, complex, and beautifully composed for a twelve year old.
PALATE
Soft and sumptuously layered — marzipan and orchard fruit tones open into warming mocha, butterscotch, grated nutmeg, sultana, dark chocolate, caramel, and stem ginger — oily, full-bodied, and deeply satisfying throughout.
FINISH
Long and warmly spiced — dark sherry notes, rich coffee, chocolate, dates, sweet spices, and leather fading slowly with a lingering white pepper warmth — one of the most impressive finishes at this age and price point in all of Speyside.
