The Macallan 18 Year Old Double Cask is a Speyside single malt aged for at least 18 years in a combination of European oak and American oak sherry-seasoned casks. The longest-aged expression in the standard Double Cask range, with the deepest layering of the two oak types.

TASTING NOTES
NOSE
Deep and aromatic — sherried dried fruit, vanilla, dark caramel, dried fig, gentle baking spice, leather, and warm toasted oak — mature and beautifully composed.
PALATE
Rich and full-bodied — caramelised dried fruit, vanilla cream, dark toffee, dried apricot, gentle leather, ginger, and integrated oak — layered and harmoniously balanced.
FINISH
Long and warmly oaked — lingering dried fruit, vanilla, soft caramel, gentle spice, and a sherried warmth fading slowly — refined, mature, and elegantly composed.
