Double Cask at 30
Double Cask pairs sherry-seasoned American oak, which brings sweetness and vanilla, with sherry-seasoned European oak for classic Macallan richness. The 30 year old, first released in 2021, is the oldest bottling in the range.
The whisky
Fresh honeycomb, toffee, red apple, fig and vanilla pod on the nose; cinnamon, ginger, Madagascan vanilla, dried fruit and oak on the palate; and a finish of sweet oak, soft spice and toffee.
