From Scotland to Jerez
A Night On Earth is The Macallan's seasonal series celebrating the turn of the year. This edition travels to Jerez de la Frontera in Andalusia, where the sherry-seasoned casks central to The Macallan's character are made, and to its New Year's Eve celebrations, Nochevieja.
The artwork
Local Jerez artist María Melero designed the packaging, drawing on festive memories of her home town: sherry vineyards, crimson sunsets and traditional azulejo tiles.
The whisky
Sherry-seasoned European and American oak casks give a burnt-orange colour and a sweet, festive profile of pastry, honey, raisin and spice. Enjoy it neat or with a drop of water.
