Distil Your World
Distil Your World is The Macallan's series with the Roca brothers, founders of El Celler de Can Roca in Girona. Each edition takes a city or country and translates its character into a single malt. Mexico is the third edition.
The whisky
The Macallan Whisky Mastery team matured this edition in first-fill sherry-seasoned European and American oak casks and bottled it at 48% ABV. The colour is a bright marigold, a nod to the flowers of the Day of the Dead.
Serving
Serve neat, or with a drop of water to lift the pineapple and orange oil. It sits well alongside dark chocolate.
