A whisky inspired by tea
Released in August 2025, this edition of the Harmony Collection draws on JING's Phoenix Honey Orchid, a Chinese oolong known for its natural stone-fruit and honey aroma. There is no tea in the whisky; the cask selection was built to echo the tea's character.
The whisky
The Macallan used mainly sherry-seasoned American oak for vanilla and softness, adding sherry-seasoned European oak and a subtle share of ex-bourbon casks. The result is summery and fruity, with peaches in syrup, warm citrus and toffee.
Serving suggestion
Enjoy it neat, or alongside a cup of oolong to compare aromas. A splash of water lifts the floral honey.
