Topanito Mezcal Artesanal Madre Cuishe - 70cl
Topanito Mezcal Artesanal Madre Cuishe is a celebrated artisanal mezcal made from wild-harvested Madre Cuishe agave (Agave karwinskii) β one of the rarest and most prized agave varieties for mezcal. The Madre Cuishe is a tall, branched agave that grows wild in Oaxaca and takes 14-20 years to mature. The agave hearts are roasted in traditional earthen pits, milled, and naturally fermented before distillation in copper alembic stills.
Topanito is a celebrated artisanal mezcal house celebrating Mexico's regional agave diversity. Each bottling showcases a distinct agave variety and terroir, presented at higher-than-average bottling strengths to preserve the spirit's full character.
