Westward has long partnered with friends, the Leal family, who worked with Master Distiller & Co-Founder Christian Krogstad over the course of five years to develop Casa Magdalena—an all-natural cane-to-glass rum distilled in Escuintla, Guatemala, and aged in Westward’s barrel house in Oregon. This delicious and flavorful rum, and our barrel aging partnership, sparked the idea to age Westward in these barrels for an additional year, and Westward American Single Malt Rum Cask was born.

Finished in Magdalena Rum casks, this Westward rum cask finish offers tropical and fruity notes to complement the signature bold, robust flavors of their American single malt spirit.
