Frequently asked
What is "SFO"?
Single Farm Origin — Waterford's terroir designation for whisky produced from barley grown at a specific single farm. Each SFO bottle traces to the specific field, farmer, and vintage. Genuinely detailed provenance without industry precedent.
What does "Edition 1.1" mean?
Waterford's version numbering system. "1.1" is the first release of the Hook Head farm bottling; subsequent releases (1.2, 1.3, etc.) would use additional barley batches from the same farm.
