Amrut Neidhal Peated Indian Single Malt Whisky – 70cl
Amrut has now conceived and launched a new umbrella brand – Single Malts of India to showcase some of the hidden gem malts of India. The first chapter of this release, titled the Neidhal will be a limited release of 12,000 bottles across the world, with 1200 bottles being allocated for India.
Neidhal is a single malt eponymously sourced from a Neidhal or coastal region and exhibits traits that uniquely spring from the locale.
TASTING NOTES
NOSE
Aromatic and complex — concentrated coastal peat smoke, gentle Indian tropical fruit, refined oak, soft sea spray, with the distinctive Amrut Single Malts of India signature.
PALATE
Layered and bold — concentrated peat smoke, tropical fruit, refined oak, gentle warm spice, soft maritime salinity, with the precise tropical-aged Amrut peated complexity.
FINISH
Long and warming — sustained peat smoke, tropical fruit, refined oak, and a polished Indian-malt fade.
