The 2018 vintage
2018 was a gift from nature: spring sunshine was 25% above average and summer heat broke 2003 records, while winter and spring rains kept the soils supplied. The harvest began around 20 August, the earliest of Dom Pérignon's five August harvests, with record ripeness in both Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
