Don Julio Anejo Tequila - 75cl
Don Julio Añejo is a 100% Blue Weber agave tequila aged eighteen months in American white-oak barrels at NOM 1449 in Atotonilco el Alto, Jalisco. Drawn from mature highland agaves and twice-distilled, it represents a deeper, more contemplative side of the Don Julio range.
The extended ageing builds layers of caramel, dried fruit, and toasted oak while keeping the bright highland agave clearly present at the core.
A serious sipping añejo, beautifully presented in the iconic Don Julio bottle. Ideal neat in a snifter or over a single large ice cube.
TASTING NOTES
NOSE
Deep and aromatic — cooked agave, vanilla, dark caramel, dried fruit, soft baking spice, and a wave of toasted oak — mature, layered, and refined.
PALATE
Rich and full-bodied — caramelised agave, vanilla, butterscotch, dried apricot, gentle leather, and integrated oak — beautifully balanced with the agave still leading.
FINISH
Long and warmly oaked — lingering caramel, vanilla, soft spice, and a slow agave-and-oak warmth fading gracefully — polished, mature, and elegantly composed.
