Drumshanbo Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey is a craft single pot still Irish whiskey from The Shed Distillery in Drumshanbo, County Leitrim — distinguished by its unusual mash bill that includes Irish barley alongside locally-malted barley and Irish-grown oats. The triple-cask programme uses American ex-bourbon, Spanish ex-sherry, and Carrasco red wine casks.
The Shed Distillery (founded 2014) was the first new distillery in Connacht in over 100 years.

TASTING NOTES
NOSE
Aromatic and complex — vanilla, ripe orchard fruit, sherried dried fruit, soft honey, gentle pot-still spice, gentle baking spice, soft red berry, and warm multi-cask oak — distinctive and beautifully composed.
PALATE
Full and rounded — vanilla cream, honeyed orchard fruit, sherried dried fruit, soft caramel, gentle pot-still spice, soft red berry, gentle baking spice, and integrated triple-cask oak — silky, layered, and harmoniously balanced.
FINISH
Medium-long and warmly composed — lingering vanilla, sherried dried fruit, gentle pot-still spice, soft red berry, and a warming oak depth fading slowly — distinctive and refined.
