Frequently asked

2023 vs 2024 Loch Gorm?
Same annual sherry-cask expression concept, different cask selections each year. Subtle character variation between vintages is part of the collector appeal.

TASTING NOTES

NOSE

Intense and indulgent. Notes of cocoa with a hint of leather, black cherry, and light smoke.

PALATE

Fruity and smoky. First, notes of dried fruits, notably roasted hazelnuts, dark chocolate, and stewed black fruits, then followed by a light ashy peat smoke.

FINISH

Long and balanced. The peaty and fruity aromas are accompanied by a slight salinity typical of Islay.
