The 15 Year Old is Springbank at its most fully developed and richly complex: matured for fifteen years in a carefully considered combination of rum, sherry, and bourbon casks — a trio of wood types that draws out very different dimensions of the distillery's characteristic 2.5-times distilled spirit — and bottled at natural colour without chill filtration.

Fifteen years in this combination of wood produces a whisky of considerable tropical richness that is simultaneously the most approachable and the most layered expression in the core range. The rum casks introduce pineapple, guava, and passion fruit; the sherry adds depth and dried fruit richness; and the bourbon provides the vanilla and caramel foundation that ties everything together.
