The flagship expression of the most celebrated independent family distillery in Scotland — and one of the most genuinely characterful and coveted single malts produced anywhere in the world. Springbank's 10 Year Old is the purest introduction to a distillery of profound importance: founded in 1828 and continuously operated by the Mitchell family ever since, Springbank is today one of only two distilleries in Scotland to perform every stage of production entirely on-site — from traditional floor malting of 100% of its own barley, through milling, mashing, fermentation, distillation, maturation, and bottling, all within the walls of the same Campbeltown premises.

The 10 Year Old is distilled using Springbank's unique 2.5-times distillation method — a partly double, partly triple distillation that produces a spirit of unusual complexity and weight — using lightly peated malt that imparts the characteristic coastal, subtly smoky undercurrent that defines the house style. Matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, non-chill filtered and bottled at natural colour. A whisky that consistently outperforms its age statement and its price in blind tastings across the world.
