It is the result of blending numerous whiskies, including a base of corn grain whisky distilled in Coffey stills, as well as various malt whiskies from the Miyagikyo and Yoichi distilleries. TASTING NOTES
Color : Old gold with golden reflections.
Nose : Fine, complex. Floral [lilac], fruity [apricot]. Notes of spices [clove] and leather.
Palate : Powerful, firm. Spicy [pepper]. Woody [oak]. Develops into ripe fruits [peach], caramelized apple, and flowers [honeysuckle].
Finish : Long. Maritime notes. Ripe fruits [plum, peach] with hints of woody-vanilla.
