Ichiro's Malt Single Cask Blended Whisky #4990 3rd Fill Bourbon Barrel Flower Series #3 - 70cl
Founded by Ichiro Akuto in 2007, Chichibu has been producing whisky since early 2008. It was Japan’s first new single malt distillery since Hakushu and began with very young “Newborn” releases before presenting its first 3‑year‑old cask‑strength whisky in 2011.
Chichibu bottles whiskies up to 12 years old under the Chichibu and Ichiro’s Malt labels and also looks after the remaining casks from Karuizawa, Kawasaki and Hanyu. The distillery uses two custom Scottish-made stills and, despite its small size, is now highly regarded among whisky enthusiasts.
Colour: Clear topaz gold, giving a warm, inviting appearance in the glass.
Nose: Bright and fruity with citrus peel and gentle spice, then soft sweetness of malt, caramel and creamy vanilla brûlée.
Palate: Smooth and lightly grainy, with barley malt wrapped in toffee and honey.
Finish: Clean, balanced and refined, with lingering vanilla and juicy tropical fruit notes.

NOSE
Aromatic and refined — concentrated vanilla, gentle orchard fruit, soft honey, refined bourbon-cask oak, light floral, with the Ichiro's Malt single-cask signature.
PALATE
Layered and silky — concentrated vanilla, gentle orchard fruit (apple, pear), soft honey, refined bourbon-cask oak, gentle spice.
FINISH
Long and refined — sustained vanilla, gentle fruit, refined bourbon-cask oak, and a polished Flower Series single-cask fade.
