Bowmore 15 Year Old is a peated Islay single malt initially matured in American ex-bourbon casks for 12 years, then finished for three further years in oloroso sherry casks at the historic Bowmore distillery on Loch Indaal — Islay's oldest distillery.
Founded in 1779. The oloroso sherry-cask finish builds rich dried-fruit and dark caramel depth on Bowmore's signature smoke.

TASTING NOTES
NOSE
Deep and aromatic — gentle peat smoke, sherried dried fruit, sea salt, vanilla, dark caramel, dried fig, gentle baking spice, and warm toasted oak — mature and beautifully composed.
PALATE
Rich and rounded — sweet smoke, caramelised dried fruit, vanilla cream, dark toffee, gentle salinity, soft leather, and integrated sherry oak — silky, layered, and harmoniously balanced.
FINISH
Long and warmly smoked — lingering peat, dried fruit, dark caramel, sea salt, gentle spice, and a sherried warmth fading slowly — refined, mature, and elegantly composed.
