Bowmore 18 Year Old is a peated Islay single malt aged for at least 18 years in a combination of American ex-bourbon and Spanish ex-sherry casks at the historic Bowmore distillery — Islay's oldest distillery, founded in 1779 on Loch Indaal.

TASTING NOTES
NOSE
Deep and aromatic — gentle peat smoke, sherried dried fruit, sea salt, vanilla, dark caramel, dried fig, gentle baking spice, leather, and warm toasted oak — mature and beautifully composed.
PALATE
Rich and full-bodied — sweet smoke, caramelised dried fruit, vanilla cream, dark toffee, gentle salinity, dried apricot, leather, and integrated multi-cask oak — silky, layered, and harmoniously balanced.
FINISH
Exceptionally long — lingering peat, dried fruit, dark caramel, sea salt, gentle leather, and a slow warming spice depth fading gracefully — refined and beautifully composed.
