In 1951 eight of Yibin’s best traditional distilleries wereconsolidated into a single state-run distillery, the Yibin Distillery (Yibin Wuliangye Distillery after 1959). Distilled from a blend of sorghum, rice, glutinous rice, wheat and corn, its baijiu quickly became the standard-bearer of mixed-grain strong aroma baijiu.

Description
TASTING NOTES
There is marked fruitiness mainly pineapple notes, liquorice, with savoury elements, soy sauce and a distinct dryness. The finish is very dry, long and lingering with alcohol burn.
