The wines at Chateau Lafleur are fermented in concrete vats with long maceration. The wines are transferred into oak barrels for 18 months for malolactic fermentation and aging. One third to one half of the barrels are replaced with new ones each year. The best vintages can last for up to 50 years.
We continuously do our best to keep our website up to date on accessible vintages. However, we have rolling wine vintages and there are times that we might miss out for some products. Newer vintages will be replaced once the old vintages are sold out. Product is still considered as the same item notwithstanding of the vintage.
