TASTING NOTES

Colour : Deep old gold.

Nose : Rich, deep. At first sniff, rye shines through with a presence that is both rustic and velvety. Upon aeration, aromas of toasted bread emerge in a pleasantly herbal atmosphere [ivy, hay]. Then, the aromatic palette evolves towards lemony and oily notes full of originality.

Palate : Rich, dense. In perfect continuity with the nose, the palate’s attack is earthy [rye field]. Then, cinnamon and candied ginger gently envelop the gustatory palette. The finish is marked by flavors of salted butter caramel and peanuts.

Finish : Long, concentrated. Floral [iris, geranium], the finish revisits the peanut butter flavors from the palate. Fresh, the aftertaste reveals fruity notes [baked apple, yellow plum] and then transitions into autumnal [pumpkin, butternut squash]. Magnificent.
